Academic Structure

Admission

Within an increasingly competitive educational environment, it has become crucial and, at the same time, more difficult for educational institution to attract students to their institutions. It is important for educational institution that they automate the admission process and makes it easy for student to understand and pass through the process. Applane Student Life cycle management supports all the steps for admission in an institution and increase its efficacy by providing customizable automated process for admission. The software lets you send e-mail or letters to prospects, informing them of the final status of their applications. In the meantime, students can always check the current status of their applications on the Web.Registration.

Student Information

All student-centric data and processes can be handled in a Student Information System(SIS). It is the core repository for the most important student data and and the central starting point of all student-related processes. In the SIS, you will find personnel data such as addresses, and information on related persons or the particular student's account. The SIS provides access to the academic history of the student, to current course registration, and progression results. Students can check the status of their student accounts at any time online.

Teacher Information

As we know that teachers are the key constituent in education delivery so it is extremely important for the institutions to manage and comprehensive personal and professional profile of the teachers. Where all of the demographic details of the teacher, their research work, publication, travel information, interests, etc. can be recorded and retrieved as and when required. Here institution can record their capabilities in terms of subject they can teach and the level/course. Here institution can define the various responsibilities for the teachers such as class in-charge and different subject assignment and the course levels for the current session and compare across different sessions and academic years.

Attendance

Allows you to record and track attendance of students & staff members manually or with integration with smart cards/biometric devices. Enables you to generate monthly attendance registers and rosters with colored demarcation of holidays, week-ends, absents, leaves and presents. Integrated with examination & grading, payroll and timetable modules.

Assignments

Enables you to schedule and publish assignments, project work, etc. to a course and group in consistence with the course syllabus and coverage. Allow students to access and the assignments with option of submitting them online.

Examination and Grading

With Applane Student Lifecycle Management, authorized faculty and staff can access class rosters online. Examiners can enter results with grading scales that vary according to course level or individual students. When an examiner has entered and checked all results, he or she can complete the grading process by setting the final grading status. Only then can students see their grades in the student self-service area.

CBSE CCE

As per CBSE guidelines for Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation of the students, CCE Report Card can be generated with minimal efforts. Complete evaluation structure, as mentioned in CBSE Teachers Manual is incorporated in Applane EI including Formative Assessments, Summative Assessments and Term Assessments along with their respective weightages. Grading system for scholastic subjects, co-scholastic subjects and co-scholastic activities and their respective descriptive indicators are in-built, which relieves teachers from calculating percentages & grades as well as recollecting descriptive indicators. Auto conversion of descriptive indicators into personalized remarks, is the unique feature of this module. Viewing and downloading of CCE Report Card is also available in Student and parent login.

Library Management

Capable of managing all the functionalities of a library, freeing up administrators, technology coordinators, and librarians for more important tasks. It is suitable for small to big libraries viz. colleges, schools, universities, Library Software can be used to manage CDs, DVDs, Drawings, or any media besides Books. And the software is fully compatible with Bar Codes. Use of Bar Codes for Library Management eases the everyday tasks of big Libraries, where the No. of transactions exceed several thousands in number. Moreover, the software can work even without Bar Codes seamlessly. The Bar-Code generation and printing process is a Built-In feature of this Software

Transport Management

Allows institutions to define bus stops, bus routes, assign vehicles to routes and assign students & staff members to a route. Vehicle maintenance and statutory documents management with reminders and alerts ensures timely maintenance and renewals. You can also monitor vehicle movement and fuel efficiency by maintaining fuel log book in Applane (EI).
